Lea is no stranger to Bonebridge: She originally started working for us in 2023, while she was pursuing her Master’s degree in biomedical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). Her internship was a great opportunity to gain an insight into different parts of our business: “I got a really good idea of how the company works and how we collaborate across departments, which now helps me recognize where processes can be optimized.” As for why she decided to come back and work with us full-time, she says: “It was the whole package, really – it’s an environment where I’m challenged and empowered to grow and where I get to apply my skills every day.”
Lea grew up in the idyllic central part of Switzerland. She now lives in the city of Zurich, but still enjoys spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains, to recharge her batteries. She enjoys all kinds of movement and physical activity from rock climbing to dancing, and she brings that same energy to creative pursuits like crafting and singing in a choir. She also cares for her ever-growing collection of plants, which has turned her home into a small indoor jungle.
