Markus only recently became a permanent member of our team, but he can hardly be called a new face: He has actually been supporting Bonebridge for many years as an external consultant. Markus holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Bern University of Applied Sciences in Burgdorf and can draw on over a decade of experience as a product development engineer in the med tech industry. He worked for industry leaders like Synthes, Schärer Medical, and Mathys and was an independent contractor for companies like Nobel Biocare and 41medical.
“I’m excited that I now get to collaborate with my colleagues as part of the team instead of supporting them from the outside,” Markus says. “Both in life and work, I try to adhere to the KISS principle – Keep It Simple, Stupid – so in that sense, Bonebridge and its ‘reducing complexity’ concept has always felt like a great fit.” Markus lives in Balsthal in the scenic canton of Solothurn. He spends his spare time hiking and cycling across Switzerland, cooking and barbecuing, and tending to his home and garden.
