Diego’s background in physiotherapy and sports medicine, combined with his international experience, makes him a valuable addition to the Bonebridge team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of South Wales. Over the years, he has worked internationally as a physiotherapist in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Australia, and Canada. Now, Diego is excited to draw on his background and apply his skills in a new setting: “I’m thrilled to bring my experience to the orthopaedic trauma industry and support surgeons with patient-focused solutions,” he says.
Diego was born in Northern Italy and now lives in the beautiful canton of Nidwalden with his wife and young son. When he’s not working, he enjoys being outdoors—climbing, hiking, or simply exploring nature with his family. A history enthusiast and language lover, Diego speaks several languages fluently, including Italian, English, German (even Swiss German), French, and Spanish. He also speaks some Dutch and even a bit of Romansh.
